At the beginning of May, I received an amazing message on Facebook. A client was getting married! I first met Cassie, Daniel, and their 3 beautiful children in August of last year. It was... eventful. One of their little guys hid from me the entire time. I pulled out my entire arsenal of "make him smile". I was silly. I baby-talked. I let him see photos. I let him take a photo. Nothing worked. N-O-T-H-I-N-G. Boo!!! Fall mini's came in October, and we met again. This time was a success! We had so many smiles! I may, or may not, have done a little happy dance!
So, when Cassie sent me a message saying that after 10 years her and Daniel were eloping at the end of May, I jumped for joy for them. It was going to be a super small, intimate affair at Sugarcreek Metropark. Except.... the weather didn't want to cooperate, so we ended up at Wegerzyn Gardens which turned out to be PERFECT!
On May 31st 11 of us (their family of 5, 4 witnesses, the officiant, and me) met at the Gardens to see these 2 amazing people become husband and wife. 10 years in the making, and they finally heard the words "you may kiss the bride".
Through good and bad, they will be one family, and I can't imagine a more deserving family. They are fun and fearless, and they deserve an amazing, long life together. Congrats Cassie + Daniel!
