As a first time mom, I was nervous to hand over my two week old little girl. But once we arrived at the studio, everything was at ease and comfortable. I had no worry at all. You handled her with such care and patience that I was able to sit and enjoy watching you both work together.

Newborn Sessions typically last between 3 - 4 hours in Dorothy's Dayton, Ohio studio. This allows for any necessary breaks for cuddling, soothing and feeding as baby’s needs are Dorothy's top priority. She will take as much time as needed for the baby to settle which allows her to produce the most adorable images for your family.

Dorothy will photograph your baby on the bean bag, using a variety of blankets and wraps. All of the hand-picked props, layers, and outfits are available during your session.

The studio is designed for your comfort. It includes a changing table, diapers, wipes, baby lotion, and swaddles. There are books, games, and movies to help keep older siblings entertained when they are not being photographed.

This is a unique, beautiful time in your lives, and I want to make sure you have photos of your growing family also! All newborn session include a variety of parent, sibling, and family poses as well.
